Husher

Husher.am is a Yerevan-based online service that writes and publishes memorial narratives for people who have died. It draws on real events from a person's life — what they did for family and community — and turns them into a page meant to keep that memory present for others.

The service frames itself as a continuation of older ways of recording a life. Parish priests once entered births and deaths in church registers, and later newspapers ran obituaries for merchants and officials at a family's request. Husher.am offers the same kind of record for anyone — a grandparent, a parent, a friend or colleague — not only for public figures.
