Ijevan
Иджеван · Իջևան
Ijevan's history and geography museum covers the town and surrounding area through four curatorial departments spread across five exhibit halls. It was founded in 1955 by the town's executive committee, though it didn't open to visitors until 1997. The building stands on the right side of the road as you enter town.
In 1992, the museum transferred roughly 1,600 items from its holdings to two other institutions: the museum of the Sardarapat battle and the museum of the Yerevan revolution.
The museum is in Ijevan, Tavush region, about 94 km northeast of Yerevan as the crow flies, on the right side of the road entering town.
