Ijevan Wine Brandy Factory makes and sells wine and oghi (fruit vodka), with a retail outlet in Yerevan open since 1951. Despite the name, this location is in Yerevan itself, not the town of Ijevan.
The range listed on its own site includes red semi-sweet and dry wines such as Vazashen and Saperavi, a dry red house wine called Ijevan Tnakan, and fruit wines made from pomegranate and cherry. Alongside these, it sells fruit vodkas — quince, apricot, and mulberry — aged in wooden barrels, offered individually or as a three-bottle set.
The outlet is open Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 18:00.
