INTERNATIONAL FINANCE CORPORATION (IFC), REPRESENTATION IN ARMENIA

This is the Yerevan representation office of the International Finance Corporation (IFC). IFC describes itself as the largest global development institution focused on the private sector in developing countries, and says its work is investing in private-sector projects, mobilizing other investors, and offering sector advisory services.

It lists a broad range of sectors it works in: financial institutions, agribusiness and forestry, infrastructure, health, education, manufacturing, creative industries, trade and supply chain finance, public-private partnerships. Alongside these it names cross-cutting priorities — climate business, fragile and conflict-affected situations, gender, mobilizing private capital, sustainability.
