ISOC.AM

ISOC.AM is the Internet Society NGO, based in Yerevan, and it runs the registry for Armenia's .am domain and the .հայ (Armenian-script) domain. Its site handles online applications for registering names in both zones and publishes the policy and technical requirements would-be registrants need to check first.

According to the organization's own account, Armenia's country-code domain saw its first registration in August 1994. The group also posts news on domain-industry topics — new global top-level domains, cybersecurity threats like botnets, and milestones such as reaching 50,000 .am registrations.

The NGO also runs an internet governance course aimed at giving participants a working understanding of who sets the rules for the global internet and how those rules get made.

ISOC.AM is in Yerevan, roughly 3 km north-northwest of the city center in a straight line.
