Johannissyan Institute

Johannissyan Institute is a Yerevan research and publishing body that works across art history, literary studies, historiography, philosophy and translation, all carried out under the name of historian Ashot Hovhannisyan.

Its own site lists a library, an art studio, a children-and-teens section (Մանկապատանեկան), and a regional strand of activity outside the capital. It also runs both educational and research programs.

The institute publishes books, distinguishing on its site between titles already out and ones still forthcoming, and it keeps an archive tied to Hovhannisyan's own papers.

It's in Yerevan itself, roughly 1 km east-southeast of the city center as the crow flies.
