KAPAN MUSEUM OF MODERN ART State Non-Commercial Organization (SNCO)

Kapan Museum of Modern Art opened in 1990 as a branch of the Yerevan Museum of Modern Art, set up on the initiative of Henrik Igityan. It holds paintings, sculpture, graphic work and decorative applied art, and organizes both solo and group shows of artists from Kapan.

Past exhibitions include "Autumn-2013," which came with a published book, and "I Remember and Demand" in April 2015, marking 100 years since the Armenian Genocide. Students from the state art college and other art schools regularly do internships at the museum.

Entrance is free. The museum has parking and Wi-Fi, allows photography and video, and runs guided excursions, though it has no cafe or souvenir shop. It's open Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 16:00.

The museum is in Kapan, in the Syunik region, on Romanos Meliqyan Street.
