Kaptavanq

Kaptavanq is a 14th-century Armenian apostolic church standing at the top of a hill on the north side of Kaputan village, in Kotayk region.

Beyond its date and setting, little else is documented about the site — no inscriptions, no builder, no later history recorded.

Kaptavanq sits above Kaputan village in Kotayk region, near Abovyan, roughly 23 km northeast of Yerevan as the crow flies.
