Karmir

Karmir is a mountain peak in the Vayk range, within Vayots Dzor marz (Armenian administrative province). It rises to 2,246 meters, 1.5 km northeast of Khachik village and 9-10 km south of Areni.
Beyond its position and elevation, there's little else on record — a summit known chiefly by its coordinates rather than by any documented history.
Karmir lies roughly 85 km southeast of Yerevan in a straight line, in Vayots Dzor marz (Armenian administrative province), close to Khachik and Areni.
