Kevork Chavoush Museum
музей Геворга Чауша · Գևորգ Չաուշի թանգարան
The Kevork Chavoush Museum opened in 1980 in the village of Ashnak, in Aragatsotn region. It covers two subjects side by side: the history and culture of Ashnak itself, and the life of Kevork Chavoush, a leader of the Armenian national liberation movement.
On display are his personal belongings, shown alongside material documenting the village's own past. The museum functions as both a local history collection and a memorial to Chavoush, whose name it carries.
The museum is in Ashnak, a village in Aragatsotn region, about 53 km west-northwest of Yerevan as the crow flies.
