Khacheri Mountains
горы Хачери · Խաչերի լեռներ
Khacheri Mountains (name translates roughly as "Cross Mountains") form a 4-km ridge in Armenia's Ararat region. They branch off the southwestern end of the Geghama mountain range and run parallel to the right bank of the Khosrov river.
The ridge's high point is Mount Arkashen, at 2,971 m. Beyond its length and position relative to the Geghama range, little else is documented about the ridge itself.
The ridge sits in Ararat region, roughly 40 km east-southeast of Yerevan in a straight line.
At nearly 3,000 m, snow cover and shifting conditions on the higher slopes should factor into any visit outside summer.
