Khachkar Atipeki

Khachkar Atipeki (carved cross-stone) dates to 1554. It sits on the exterior of St. Grigor church, part of the Arnegh monastery complex, on the upper southern corner of the church's eastern facade.
The site occupies the southwestern part of Gavar, in what was once the separate village of Hatsarat before it merged into the town. The khachkar is listed on Armenia's state register of immovable historical and cultural monuments, under number 5.1/18.2.8.
The khachkar is in Gavar, in Gegharkunik region, roughly 54 km east-northeast of Yerevan as the crow flies.
