Khachkar

Azamat's khachkar is a carved cross-stone monument standing at Surb Hripsime church in Vagharshapat, one of the churches counted in the town's UNESCO World Heritage listing. It carries its own separate entry in Armenia's state list of immovable history and culture monuments, under number 4.2/17.9.9.
Beyond its placement at the church and that registry listing, no further detail on the stone itself is recorded.
The khachkar is in Vagharshapat, Armavir region, about 17 km west of Yerevan in a straight line. It stands at Surb Hripsime church, on the eastern side of town near the crossing of Mesrop Mashtots and Grigor Narekatsi streets.
