Kuraghbyur

Kuraghbyur is a lake on Mount Aragats, sitting at 2,985 meters above sea level on the mountain's northeastern slope, in Aragatsotn region near the town of Aparan. At that height it sits well above the tree line, on open alpine ground.

The lake is small, covering about 0.1 square kilometers. Some sources record it under the alternate name Kurbulagh.

Beyond its size and elevation, little else is documented about the lake — no marked trail, facility, or seasonal note is on record.

Kuraghbyur is in Aragatsotn region, near Aparan, roughly 49 km north-northwest of Yerevan as the crow flies.
