Lernayin Par Sculpture

Lernayin Par ("Mountain Dance") is a sculpture group in the Arabkir district of Yerevan, set within Mergelyan Park. From 1984 to 2024 it stood in front of the Hotel Dvin, before its move to the park.

There's little more on record about the piece beyond its two locations and the decades it spent at each. For anyone tracing Yerevan's Soviet-era public art, it's a small but concrete data point: same sculpture, one relocation, forty years apart.

The sculpture sits within Yerevan city, in the Arabkir district — about 1 km northwest of the city center (straight-line).
