Lezounery Toun
Лезунери Тун · Լեզունըրի Տուն
Lezounery Toun is a language school in Yerevan, set up in 1976 by Yelena Galstyan and Sofia Kalantar. It's open Monday to Saturday, 9:30 to 21:00.
The school says it teaches through an interactive method built around conversation, humor, and repeated exposure rather than grammar drills or translation exercises. Center psychologist Elena Barteneva describes the aim as getting a foreign language to occupy its own space in the learner's mind, cutting out the habit of translating internally before speaking.
The center is currently headed by principal Ksenya Barteneva.
Lezounery Toun is in Yerevan, roughly 1 km east-southeast of the city center (straight-line).
