Little Farm
Маленькая ферма · Փոքրիկ ֆերմա
Little Farm is a restaurant built around a farm in the village of Akunk, Kotayk region. The farm itself dates to 1998; it opened to guests as a dining spot in 2017.
The menu leans on old recipes. Bistapur is an old Nakhichevan-style dish made with chortan (dried tan, a yogurt-based ingredient) and a herb the farm grows itself. Tonratagh is pork ribs cooked in a tonir (clay oven), served with a choice of khavarrt (sauces).
The place seats guests outdoors as well as in, serves beer, wine and coffee alongside lunch and dinner, and lists vegetarian options on the menu. It takes reservations, allows children and groups, and has live music. Parking is free, in a lot or on the street, and cards and contactless payment are accepted.
Little Farm sits in Akunk village, Kotayk region, near Abovyan, about 17 km northeast of Yerevan in a straight line.
With outdoor seating part of the setup, warmer months make for a more comfortable visit than winter.
