Lori

Lori is a rest zone (hangstyan goti, a lakeside vacation compound) on the shore of Lake Sevan. Harutyun Izmiryan has directed it since 2005. It rents three-room cottages with bathroom, TV and fridge. Meals run three times a day on request, wifi is free, and the sandy beach has a pool sized for children.

The operator says the grounds are fenced and watched around the clock, with the pool water treated regularly. It also accepts Armenia's social package (sots'paket) scheme for subsidized stays. Contact is by phone or through its website.

Lori sits in Gegharkunik region, in the Jambarak district area near Lake Sevan, roughly 74 km east-northeast of Yerevan in a straight line.
