Lori

Vanadzor City Stadium, still called Lori Stadium by many locals, has hosted football in Armenia's third-largest city since 1958. It opened that year with room for 5,000 spectators and became home ground for Lori Vanadzor and FC Vanadzor.

The ground changed shape in 2022. It converted to an all-seater stadium, and capacity dropped to 2,450.

There's no museum here, no plaque, no view built for tourists. It's a working sports venue, still used for matches, worth knowing about if you're in Vanadzor on a match day.

The stadium is in Vanadzor, the main city of Lori region, roughly 70 km north of Yerevan as the crow flies. Its exact spot within the city is best checked locally before you head out.
