Journalists for Human Rights NGO, chaired by Zhanna Alexanyan, is a Yerevan-based rights group that publishes reports and interviews on abuses in closed institutions, the army, and the courts.
Its website is organized by theme — closed institutions, the 44-day war, freedom of speech, fair trial, corruption, freedom of assembly, social rights, and threats against human rights defenders — and under these headings it has covered cases such as the death of serviceman Edgar Gevorgyan, found on August 23 with a gunshot wound at a Defense Ministry unit, an incident the ministry said was still under investigation when the item was published.
Contact runs through phone, email, and the website Forrights.am.
Located in Yerevan, roughly 2 km northwest of the city center (straight-line).
