Map Travel

Map Travel books guided tours in Armenia and abroad from an office in Yerevan, run by director Rubina H. Babayan since 2005. It offers individual, VIP and group bookings, and pairs guides with transport and restaurant meals as part of its packages.

Inside Armenia it lists classic itineraries alongside Tatev, nature and adventure trips, gastronomic tours, rafting, hiking, winter tours, hot-air balloon flights, and bird-watching or helicopter tours. It also runs group tours and combined Armenia-Georgia packages.

One classic route it names goes from Yerevan to Victory Park, then the Matenadaran and the Armenian Genocide memorial complex. From there it continues to Echmiadzin, Geghard and the Garni pagan temple. A further leg covers Lake Sevan, Dilijan, Haghartsin, the Parajanov museum and the Yerevan Brandy Factory, ending at Ararat, Oshakan and Amberd.

Abroad, it lists tours to Israel, Italy, Spain, Greece, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, the Maldives, Bali, the Dominican Republic, Thailand and Sri Lanka, plus direct flight bookings.

The office takes credit cards and is open Monday to Friday, 11:00 to 19:00.
