Margaryan Maternity Hospital, formally the Research Center of Maternal and Child Health Protection, has operated as a closed joint-stock company since its founding in 1931. It functions as a full maternity and gynecology complex, with obstetric and delivery departments, a postpartum unit, a high-risk pregnancy department, and a separate newborn unit alongside general admissions.

Gynecological care splits into surgical and non-surgical departments, supported by anesthesiology and intensive care. The center also runs a men's reproductive health center and an assisted reproduction technology department, plus a polyclinic for outpatient visits. Smaller cabinets handle traditional medicine — acupuncture, manual therapy, reflexotherapy — along with dentistry and andrology and endocrinology. Diagnostic services span functional diagnostics, radiology and densitometry, laboratory testing, and pathohistology.

Sergey A. Khachatryan serves as General Director, with Haykuhi Yu. Vardanyan as Deputy Director of Finance.
