Marshal Baghramyan statue

The statue depicts Hovhannes Baghramyan, a Soviet military commander who reached the rank of Marshal of the Soviet Union and was named Hero of the Soviet Union twice. It stands on Marshal Baghramyan Avenue, facing the building of the American University of Armenia.

The statue went up in 2003, on the avenue that already carried his name.

The statue is in Yerevan, on Marshal Baghramyan Avenue opposite the American University of Armenia building, roughly 2 km north-northwest of the city center by straight-line distance.
