Diocese of Masyatsotn of the Armenian Apostolic Church
Епархия Масяцотн · Մասյացոտնի Թեմ / Diocese of Masyatsotn of the Armenian Apostolic Church
The Diocese of Masyatsotn is one of the administrative dioceses of the Armenian Apostolic Church, with its seat in Artashat. It oversees a network of parish churches and clergy, and is led by Bishop Gevorg Saroyan as primate.
The diocese's website carries an appeal for support toward its church-building work, saying it continues to help compatriots forced from Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) on an ongoing basis. The same site lists the diocese's parish churches and clergy, and publishes sermons, prayers, saints' lives, and other religious educational material.
The diocese is based in Artashat, in the Ararat region, about 24 km south of Yerevan in a straight line.
