Mayravanq

Mayravanq is a ruined medieval Armenian monastery near the village of Solak, in Kotayk province. Of the original complex, only the church of Surb Astvatsatsin (Holy Mother of God), built in the 11th-12th centuries, remains standing.
The church sits atop a cliff, ringed by evergreen trees. No other structures from the monastic complex have survived.
Mayravanq lies in Kotayk province, near the village of Solak, roughly 37 km north-northeast of Yerevan in a straight line.
