Meghri Fortress

Meghri Fortress dates to the 11th century, built on a hill north of Meghri's old quarter, overlooking that part of town from above.
Beyond its age and position, little else is documented about the structure itself. It stands as one of the listed historic monuments of Meghri.
The fortress sits above Meghri, in Syunik region, roughly 206 km southeast of Yerevan in a straight line.
