METSAMOR MEDICAL CENTER Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC)

Metsamor Medical Center CJSC runs the hospital and outpatient clinic serving the town of Metsamor, in Armavir region. Departments cover primary care, pediatrics, endocrinology and therapy, infectious diseases, surgery, gynecology, and a dental office, each with its own listed staff.

Michael Vanyan, a neurologist by training, heads the center as executive director. He studied at the medical faculty of Yerevan State Medical Institute from 1971 to 1978 and holds a candidate of medical sciences degree.

His path to the post ran through district medicine in Tumanyan: heading a rural medical post in Odzun, then the neurology department at Akhtala's city hospital, followed by administrative and clinical posts before he took the top job in Metsamor.

The center is in the town of Metsamor, in Armavir region.
