Minas Avetisyan House-museum

The Minas Avetisyan House-museum opened on July 21, 1982, in Jajur, the Shirak village where the painter was born. The 1988 earthquake destroyed the building; it reopened in 2005.
Inside are Avetisyan's own paintings and personal belongings, alongside canvases by his son. The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday, 11:00 to 17:40.
The museum sits in Jajur, a village in Shirak region near Gyumri, about 89 km north-northwest of Yerevan in a straight line.
