Monument to the squad of major I.A. Montresor
Отряду майора И. А. Монтрезора · Օսիպ Մոնտրեզոր
This monument in Vanadzor carries the name of major I.A. Montresor and the squad he led. That's the extent of what's documented — no date of installation, no account of the campaign or event behind it, no record of who commissioned it.
For now, the name on the monument is the main thing it has to tell you.
The monument is in Vanadzor, Lori region, about 75 km north of Yerevan in a straight line.
