Mooradasar

Mooradasar is a mountain peak in Armenia's Vayots Dzor region, part of the Tekhsar mountain range, lying northwest of Jermuk. It rises to 3,214 meters.
The peak is built from volcanic-sedimentary and intrusive rock, and its slopes carry a mountain-meadow landscape. The name appears in several regional spellings, including Mooradtapa and Mooradtepa.
Mooradasar sits in Vayots Dzor region, northwest of the town of Jermuk. In straight-line terms it's about 97 km east-southeast of Yerevan.
