Mshkavank Monastery, Tavush, Armenia

Mshkavank Monastery

Мшкаванк · Վանական համալիր Մշկավանք

Mshkavank is a medieval monastic complex raised by the Armenian Apostolic Church in the 12th and 13th centuries, in Armenia's Tavush region. It no longer functions as a place of worship.

Beyond its dating and confession, published sources say little about the site itself — no record of its layout, its condition, or what still stands. What survives is documented mainly by name and era, not by description.

Mshkavank stands near the village of Kolb in Tavush region, roughly 116 km north-northeast of Yerevan in a straight line.
