National Leadership Institute

The National Leadership Institute, known in Armenian as Ազգային առաջնորդության ինստիտուտ (ԱԱԻ), is a public organization founded in 2000 as a Christian educational center. Its stated aim is to help young people deepen their knowledge of God and guide them toward the Armenian Apostolic Church.

Since 2007 the institute has operated under the Araratian Pontifical Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, with the blessing and spiritual support of Archbishop Navasard Kchoyan, locum tenens of the diocese. Its website lists a range of youth programs, including English-language classes, pilgrimage trips to Tatev, and other initiatives grouped under names like Insight and Martahraver.

This is not a monastery or a historic church building — it's a working institute for youth education, run under church auspices.

The institute is in Yerevan, about 1 km east-southeast of the city center (straight-line).
