SME Association

SME Association is a membership organization for small and medium-sized businesses, founded in Yerevan in 2014. Its own materials describe the goal as giving members a collective voice in dealings with government bodies, banks and international organizations — leverage a single small business would struggle to build alone.

The association's materials list legal consultation and defense of members' interests, support in resolving disputes with state and local government bodies, and participation in seminars and advisory meetings among its activities. Forums, conferences and exhibitions are organized to connect members with potential partners, investors and suppliers, and the group says it represents members in state-private sector dialogue platforms.

Hakob Avagyan chairs the association's board; Tigran Gasparyan serves as Executive Director. The office keeps hours Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 18:00, and membership registration runs through the association's website.
