Pyuniq stadium

Pyuniq stadium serves as the training center and academy base for FC Pyunik, one of Yerevan's football clubs. It opened in 2004 on land that had belonged to the former Kilikia Football School, in the Kentron district near the Tsitsernakaberd hill.

The ground holds 770 seats, all of them seated rather than standing terraces. Its main function today is hosting home matches for Pyunik-2, the club's reserve squad — a second team drawn from younger or backup players — which competes in Armenia's first division, the country's second-tier league.

The stadium sits in Yerevan's Kentron district, near the Tsitsernakaberd hill, roughly 2 km west-northwest of central Yerevan (straight-line).
