Robert Abajyani Monument

памятник Роберту Абаджяну · Ռոբերտ Աբաջյանի հուշարձան

This monument marks the memory of Robert Abajyan, a junior sergeant in the Artsakh Defense Army, born in 1996 and killed in the Four-Day War fighting for Artsakh. He was posthumously given the title Hero of Artsakh.

The monument stands in the courtyard of School No. 147, which carries his name, in Yerevan's Kanaker-Zeytun district. It was installed on January 28, 2026.

There's little more to it than that: a school, a name, a soldier's short life recorded in stone.

The monument sits in Yerevan's Kanaker-Zeytun district, in the courtyard of School No. 147, roughly 4 km north-northeast of the city center (straight-line).
