Saint Anna Church
Церковь Святой Анны · Սուրբ Աննա եկեղեցի
Saint Anna Church is an Armenian Apostolic church in Yerevan's Kentron district, consecrated on April 30, 2015. In Armenian it's called a mayr tachar (mother cathedral), meaning it functions as a diocesan seat rather than an ordinary parish church.
It stands directly beside Katoghike Church, which has occupied the same plot since the 13th century. The two buildings share one small piece of ground in central Yerevan — a medieval structure still in active use next to a 21st-century addition built as its neighbor.
Saint Anna Church is in Yerevan's Kentron district, in the city center. The coordinate-based straight-line distance from Yerevan's reference point comes to about 1 km northeast — a measurement artifact rather than a sign of distance from downtown.
