Saint George Church

Saint George Church is a 7th-century Armenian apostolic church standing southeast of Karashamb village and north of Argel village, in Kotayk region. It's included on the official list of historical and cultural monuments belonging to Karashamb.
Beyond its dating and location, little else is documented about the building.
The church sits in Kotayk region near the town of Charentsavan, roughly 26 km north-northeast of Yerevan (straight-line). It lies southeast of Karashamb village and north of Argel village.
