Saint George Church (Movses)

Saint George Church sits in the village of Movses in Tavush region, and almost nothing of it remains. Only the north and east walls of the Armenian Apostolic church still stand.

At some point a new church, Holy Mother of God, was built directly beside these remains, so the old walls now stand next to an active place of worship rather than alone.

The site is in Movses village, Tavush region, roughly 116 km northeast of Yerevan in a straight line.
