Saint Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral

Saint Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral stands in Yerevan's Kentron district (the city's central district) and holds the title of biggest church building in the Armenian Apostolic Church. Only the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Tbilisi comes close to it in scale within the South Caucasus.
The General Andranik metro station sits right next to it, making the cathedral one of the more accessible large religious sites in the capital.
The cathedral sits within Yerevan itself, roughly 1 km south-southeast of the city center as the crow flies.
