Saranar

Saranar is a peak of 3,076 meters in the central part of the Sevan mountains, in Armenia's Gegharkunik region, about 4.5 km northwest of the village of Geghamasar. A stream carrying the same name rises on its slopes.

Beyond its height and position, little else is recorded about the peak — it registers mainly as a fixed point on the map of the Sevan range and as the origin of the Saranar stream that flows from it.

Saranar lies in Gegharkunik region, near the village of Geghamasar, roughly 98 km east-northeast of Yerevan in a straight line.
