Севанский перевал · Սևանի լեռնանցք
Sevani Lernantsk (Sevan pass) sits at 2,114 meters, threading between the Pambak and Areguni mountain ranges on the line where Gegharkunik and Tavush regions meet. It's the link between the Lake Sevan basin and the Aghstev river valley.
Before the Dilijan tunnel opened, the interstate M4 highway ran over this pass. In the late 19th century and early 20th century it was known as the Semyonovka pass.
The pass lies in Gegharkunik region near Dilijan, about 63 km north-northeast of Yerevan as the crow flies.
