Shekqar

Shekqar, also recorded as Sarikaya, is a mountain rising to 1,725 meters at the western foot of the Aragats massif in Aragatsotn region. It sits north of the village of Zarinja and about 2.5 km northeast of Tsamakasar village.

At under 1,800 meters, it's a modest shoulder of the wider Aragats massif rather than a summit destination in its own right.

Shekqar lies in Aragatsotn region, roughly 69 km west-northwest of Yerevan in a straight line, near Tsamakasar and Zarinja villages on the western foot of Aragats.
