Shirak Regional Library

Shirak Regional Library is a free library in Gyumri, set up in memory of Armine Grigoryan (March 29, 1989–2023), whose wish was a place where people could read, study and grow. The library states its mission as building a culture of reading and continuing education and helping form a community of book lovers in Armenia, with a stated goal of becoming an informal education platform in the country.

According to the library, Armine's idea now lives on through more than 2,400 readers. New members register, verify their account, and then borrow books through the library's own system.

The library is in Gyumri, in Shirak region, roughly 88 km northwest of Yerevan as the crow flies.
