Shnher
Шнхер · Շնհեր
Shnher — also recorded as Shinher, Shinuhayr, or Shnhergyol — is a small highland lake in Syunik, spread across the Shinuhayr plateau at 1,540 meters above sea level. Its surface covers about 0.05 square kilometers, making it one of the smaller lakes in the region rather than a destination in itself.
It lies close to the village of Shinuhayr and within reach of Goris, marking it as a landscape feature of the plateau rather than a built site — there's little more on record about it beyond its size and setting.
Shnher sits in Syunik region, on the Shinuhayr plateau, about 5 km west of Shinuhayr village and 10 km southwest of Goris. From Yerevan, it's roughly 170 km east-southeast in a straight line.
