Small Arteni is a cone-shaped peak of volcanic origin, rising 1,754 meters at the southwestern foot of the Aragats massif in Aragatsotn region. It sits about 2 km southwest of the village of Arevut.
Perlite deposits are found near the peak.
Small Arteni lies in Aragatsotn region, about 2 km southwest of Arevut village, roughly 65 km west-northwest of Yerevan (straight-line).
