Small Hovvablur

Покр Оваблур · Փոքր Հովվաբլուր

Small Hovvablur is a 2,199-meter peak on the Syunik plateau, rising above the Vorotan river's left bank. It matters mainly as a fixed point on this stretch of high ground — the named summit above Harjis village, in the Goris area of southern Armenia.

The peak sits about 5.5 kilometers north of Harjis. No trail, marker, or facility is documented here.

Treat it as a landmark, not a hike with infrastructure. Anyone planning to reach the top should confirm access locally first.

Small Hovvablur lies in Syunik region, roughly 160 km southeast of Yerevan, on the high plateau above Goris, about 5.5 km north of Harjis village on the Vorotan's left bank.

At close to 2,200 meters, snow can linger into late spring on this part of the Syunik plateau, making summer and early autumn the more workable stretch for anyone heading up.
