Sofi

Sofi — also recorded as Aghasofi — is a peak in the Vayk mountain range, within Vayots Dzor province. It rises about 11 km east of Areni village, close to Mozrov, on the land that separates the Arpa and Gnishik rivers.

That puts it on the natural divide between the two river valleys rather than at any built lookout or waypoint. Beyond its position on that ridge, little else is recorded about the summit itself.

Sofi lies in Vayots Dzor province, roughly 86 km southeast of Yerevan in a straight line. Areni village sits about 11 km to its west, with Mozrov close by in the same direction, and Yeghegnadzor is the nearest town of size in the province.
