Surb Astvatsatsin Church

Surb Astvatsatsin — the name means Holy Mother of God — is an Armenian Apostolic church in the village of Nor Gyugh, Kotayk region, part of the Abovyan municipality. It was built in the 1830s and remains an operating parish church today.
The church is in Nor Gyugh village, within the Abovyan municipal area of Kotayk region, about 16 km northeast of Yerevan in a straight line.
