Stepanyans Gastro Yard

Stepanyans' Gastro Yard is a family-run restaurant and wine venue in Areni village, Vayots Dzor, operating since 2007. The Stepanyan family built it around introducing visitors to Armenian winemaking and cooking traditions, using their own vineyards and orchards on site.

Beyond meals, the yard runs walks through the vineyards and fruit orchards, tastings, and demonstrations covering wine production, dried-fruit making and beekeeping. The business notes that Areni village itself is home to the Areni-1 winery site, with a history reaching back around 6,100 years, and that the village hosts an international wine festival each year.

The venue accepts credit cards, debit cards and contactless payment.
