Sts. Paul and Peter Church

Храм святых апостолов Петра и Павла (Сурб Погос-Петрос) · Ս. Պօղոս-Պետրոս Եկեղեցի

Sts. Paul and Peter Church is the largest building in the Tatev monastery complex. Bishop Ter Hovhannes had it built between 895 and 906, on the spot of an older church that had been destroyed.

Beyond its size relative to the rest of the complex, little else is recorded about the structure itself.

The church stands in Tatev, in Syunik province, roughly 173 km east-southeast of Yerevan as the crow flies.
